This program is sponsored by UnitedHealthcare and hosted by Kimber Health. Top performers will receive special awards from both UHC and Kimber Health and there will be major media coverage during our closing session?.
During the program, we pledge to match donations 1:1 from any healthcare advocate leaders to organizations of your choice.* Previous donations have been made to organizations like Doctors without Borders, The JED Foundation, the Red Cross, the International Rescue Committee (for Earthquake relief in Turkey), and the Period Purse.
*The matching limit will differ based on the performance of the healthcare advocate.
Lead and champion the right to affordable healthcare. Bring awareness to pressing healthcare issues in your community. Plan outreach events and coordinate outreach efforts to international students and the wider international community. Collaborate with other student leaders in promotional efforts. We specialize in the student medical insurance space and have enjoyed tremendousv growth in the past couple years, becoming a dominant player in this marketplace and the largest agency for United Healthcare in 2022.

Responsiblities
Actively engage with your community through social media and outreach events
Leverage your network to establish connections with student organizations, NGOs, international students, refugees, and other individuals in need of affordable healthcare.
Champion affordable healthcare rights!
Collaborate with student leaders and produce weekly reports.
Proactively participate in discussions with other student leaders.
Criteria
Passionate about healthcare, leadership, or social impact
Strong communication skills
Able to commit >6 hours/week
Experience with social media preferred
Prior leadership experience in student organizations preferred
Must-have
Graduate Student (International Students Preferred)
Strong passion for healthcare and social impact
Proficient in Communication (verbal & written).
